key of “A” Intro | E | D | A | E | Changes | A | A | A | A | | D | D | A | A | | E | D | A | E | Outline: This is a very standard “three chord shuffle.” After the intro, you notice the dynamics drop, as the band plays a bit softer. Then comes a chorus that is played harder, followed by another verse, another chorus, and so on. The chord changes are the same for verses and choruses. After the fifth chorus, we repeat a chorus, and you can hear a drum fill that sort of builds on snare and floor tom going into the “E” chord of the last line, setting up the ending. |
